Hake - Air Fryer
The air fryer creates a beautifully cooked, flaky hake fillet with minimal effort and no added oil required.
Ingredients
- 4 hake fillets, approximately 150–180g each
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried parsley or mixed herbs
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Pat the hake fillets dry with paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the fish.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 3–5 minutes.
- Place the hake fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 180°C for 8–12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- The fish is cooked when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 63°C.
- Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
