Peri-Peri Chicken Kebabs
Lean chicken breast marinated with lemon, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, and oregano for a bold, spicy, high-protein meal.
Ingredients
- 600g chicken breast, cubed
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½–1 tsp chilli flakes, adjust to taste
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Optional Vegetables
- Red onion
- Bell peppers
- Cherry tomatoes
Method
- Combine the lemon juice, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Add the chicken and coat thoroughly.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread the chicken onto skewers with the optional vegetables if desired.
- Air fry at 190°C for 12–15 minutes, or grill, braai, or bake until fully cooked.
- Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
