Peri-Peri Chicken Kebabs

Lean chicken breast marinated with lemon, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, and oregano for a bold, spicy, high-protein meal.

Ingredients

  • 600g chicken breast, cubed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½–1 tsp chilli flakes, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Optional Vegetables

  • Red onion
  • Bell peppers
  • Cherry tomatoes

Method

  1. Combine the lemon juice, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken and coat thoroughly.
  3. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Thread the chicken onto skewers with the optional vegetables if desired.
  5. Air fry at 190°C for 12–15 minutes, or grill, braai, or bake until fully cooked.
  6. Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  7. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
