Peri-Peri Chicken Kebabs
Lean chicken breast marinated with lemon, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, and oregano for a bold, spicy, high-protein meal.
Ingredients
- 160g chicken breast, cubed
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Plan Vegetables
Seasoning quantities are scaled practically for flavour. The controlled plan quantities are the chicken, vegetables, carbs, and fats.
Method
- Combine the lemon juice, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Add the chicken and coat thoroughly.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread the chicken onto skewers with the plan vegetables if included in your selected meal.
- Air fry at 190°C for 12 to 15 minutes, or grill, braai, or bake until fully cooked.
- Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges and your selected Kaizen meal-plan add-ons.
