Roasted Broccoli - Oil Free
A simple oil-free roasted broccoli recipe with bold seasoning, crispy edges, and a tender centre.
Ingredients
- 500g broccoli florets
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the broccoli florets in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Drizzle over the water and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking tray.
- Roast for 18–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until tender with crispy, caramelised edges.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice if desired.
- Serve immediately.

- Garlic & Lemon: Add 2 cloves crushed garlic before roasting. Finish with extra lemon zest.
- Cajun Broccoli: Replace the paprika with 1 tsp Cajun seasoning.

- Chilli & Lime: Add chilli flakes before roasting and finish with fresh lime juice.
