A flavour-packed air fryer chicken recipe that delivers crispy skin, juicy meat, and effortless meal prep.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs (skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs or thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for 3–5 minutes.
- Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 190°C for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
- Cook until the thickest part of the thigh reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges if desired.
