Roasted Chicken Thighs - Air Fryer

A flavour-packed air fryer chicken recipe that delivers crispy skin, juicy meat, and effortless meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs (skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs or thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry at 190°C for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
  7. Cook until the thickest part of the thigh reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  8. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve with fresh lemon wedges if desired.
