Roasted Green Beans - Oil Free
A simple oil-free roasted green bean recipe packed with flavour, texture, and versatility.
Ingredients
- 500g fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the green beans in a large bowl.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Drizzle over the water and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking tray.
- Roast for 12–18 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender with lightly browned edges.
- Remove from the oven and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.
- Serve immediately.
