Ingredients

  • ½ cup Korean fermented soybean paste, doenjang
  • 2 tbsp Korean hot pepper paste, gochujang
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced or grated
  • 2 finely chopped scallions
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Zero-kcal sweetener, to taste, approximately 1 tbsp honey equivalent
  • 2 to 4 tbsp water, to thin to desired consistency

Method

  1. Add everything to a mason jar.
  2. Shake or stir until well combined.
  3. Chill for 15 to 30 minutes to allow the flavour to develop before serving.
